Kindergarten Fifties Day! Travel with us to the 1950s:
It's the 50th day of school, we are going to learn about what life was like in the 1950 and practice counting to fifty all day. Kindergarten is so much fun. Boys and girls remember to dress-up in 50s outfits. Happy Days are here again.

My class enjoyed learning about life in the 1950s. We compared and contrasted what life was like in the 50s to what life is like today, in 2011. We studied pictures from the past, read children picture books, assembled Mr. & Mrs. Potato head, while listening to Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Fats Domino, Beach Boys and many more. They even liked learning one of my Favorite songs, "Love Me Tender". Oh, the root beer floats were a total success. My students were coming back for seconds, but we ran out of time. Maybe we can finish the Ice-Cream today.
